Magic Weave is designed as a family-friendly bedtime storytelling companion. We strictly adhere to child-safety principles and global standards, ensuring that bedtime story creation is fun, imaginative, and completely safe.
We do not knowingly collect personal identifying information (such as real full names, physical addresses, phone numbers, or school locations) directly from children under 13 without parental consent.
All account creation, subscription purchases, and story-generation prompts are intended to be configured and supervised directly by parents or legal guardians. Any names or characteristics assigned to story characters are used strictly in-memory or in-session to generate customized story text and illustrations.
2. Information We Collect
- Story Customization Inputs: Character names (e.g. "Leo the Brave"), age brackets, story themes (e.g. Space Exploration, Dinosaurs), and lessons provided by you to personalize bedtime stories.
- Account & Support Inquiries: Your name and email address when you contact us for customer service or submit an inquiry through our Contact Form.
- Device & Diagnostic Information: Operating system version, app build version, device model, and crash logs to troubleshoot technical issues and maintain application performance.
- In-App Purchases: All transactions for subscriptions or Magic Coins are processed securely through the Apple App Store (Apple In-App Purchases) or Google Play Store (Google Play Billing). We never receive or store your credit card or financial account numbers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We process information strictly for the following purposes:
- To generate customized bedtime stories, narrative chapters, and child-safe cover illustrations.
- To convert written stories into soothing audio narrations for bedtime listening.
- To allow you to save and access your created stories offline on your local device.
- To respond to your feedback, feature requests, and support queries.
- To ensure safety and monitor adherence to our strict kid-safe content filters.
4. Zero Data Selling & Third-Party Disclosure
We do NOT sell, rent, or commercialize your personal information, your child's data, or your stories to third parties or advertising brokers.
Data is only transmitted to secure cloud infrastructure providers (such as AI model inference APIs and cloud hosting services) solely as necessary to render the story text, generate cover illustrations, and stream audio. All service providers are bound by strict confidentiality and data-processing obligations.
5. Security & Offline Storage
We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS) for all data in transit between our mobile applications and our servers. Downloaded stories can be retained locally on your mobile device for convenient and safe offline bedtime reading without requiring an internet connection.
6. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You have the right to inspect, correct, or request the permanent deletion of your account and any associated story data at any time. To request data removal, simply email us at hello@magicweave.app or use the in-app support option. Requests are processed within 30 days.
